If there is going to be a The Secret Life of Pets 3, then it’s anyone’s guess as to when fans will be able to mark their calendars with a release date for the follow-up to the 2019 animated comedy motion picture. Unfortunately, there are no official plans for The Secret Life of Pets 3 at this time. The film and its sequel followed a group of domesticated house pets who have secret adventures out in the world and embark on all kinds of laugh-out-loud shenanigans that are fun for the whole family.įans can’t seem to get enough of Max, Snowball, Duke, Gidget, Chloe, and the rest of the exceptional critters that occupy the well-crafted family-friendly feature. The first movie arrived in 2016 and basically showcased what happens if pets did the same things the toys in Toy Story did when their owners leave the house. The latter has grossed a total of $1.3 billion so far, with both films getting decent reviews, making it seem very likely that there will be more chapters and spinoffs some time down the line. Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have two very impressive and financially successful animation franchises with the Despicable Me films and The Secret Life of Pets movies. The Secret Life of Pets 2 has been a chart-topper on Netflix, and many are probably wondering if there are any plans for The Secret Life of Pets 3 to come out at some point in the future.
